五一国际劳动节（International Labor Day或者May Day），

又称国际劳动节、劳动节，

是世界上80多个国家的全国性节日。

“五一”起源于1886年5月1日，

美国35万各种肤色，

各个工种的工人为争取“八小时工作制”

举行了一场声势浩大的罢工运动，

后遭镇压，1889年7月，

恩格斯在第二国际成立大会上

宣布将每年的五月一日定为国际劳动节，简称“五一”，

1920年5月1日，是中国历史上的

第一个“五一”劳动节。

1949年12月5月1日成为法定的劳动节，

并有了五一假期，鼓励大家劳逸结合。
